Cute, & Cheap!

Ok, so I can't full credit for these because I copied the idea. But her's was with flowers and well, flowers and boys just don't really go together. I found the frames at Micheal's for a $1.00 each and the pre-painted vehicles for .50 each. So I did 6 and the total cost was under $10!!! All I had to do was to paint the frames, add some card stock for backing and hot glue the painted pieces on.

They have these cute painted wooden things at Micheal's. They come in all sorts of things from fish to cars, flowers to farm animals. So the possibilities are endless with what you can do.

Taco Soup

I usually find a recipe and then I make it to fit what I have on hand, and this is what I did with this Taco Soup.

-1lb. ground beef - browned and drained or 1lb. diced chicken cooked and drained
-small onion chopped
-taco seasoning mix
-1 can corn, drained
-1 can Navy beans (the white ones) un-drained
-1 can Kidney beans (the red ones) un-drained
Here is the easy part... After cooking the beef or chicken, just dump everything together. You can add more water if you want to thin it out a bit, but I like mine a little thicker. Let it simmer until everything is warm. Scoop into bowls and top with cheese, sour cream and chips.
